I think I’ve always lived in the in-between.

On belonging, becoming, and what I learned from never quite fitting in one place.

I learned to code-switch long before I knew there was a name for it. 😂 Mostly, I just learned how to figure out who I needed to be depending on where I was.

For most of my life, I thought belonging meant assimilation. I don’t believe that anymore.
